Wage Determination Lookup
The wage floor for a trade in a locality, under the Service Contract Act or the Davis-Bacon Act. Add one trade for a quick answer, or build a list to price a whole rate schedule at once.
It tells you when there is no classification. A trade with no published floor has to be conformed after award on an SF-1444. This tool names those trades up front and shows you the rest of the trade family, so you can pick your own comparable.
Rates are fetched from sam.gov when you search. Nothing is cached and nothing is stored — if the fetch fails you get an error, never an old rate.
Services on a federal contract are SCA. Construction, alteration or repair of a building is Davis-Bacon. Some scopes carry both.
Davis-Bacon publishes a separate determination per type, and the rates differ for the same trade in the same county. Commercial work is almost always Building.
A state, county or city. The determination that covers it will be named in the result.
Add one for a single answer, or several to price a rate schedule. Adding one trade is the single lookup.
Wage determinations are published by the U.S. Department of Labor and served through sam.gov. This tool reads them; it does not interpret them. Which determination applies to a specific contract is a matter for the contracting officer.
